The ancient port of Fowey. Much of it has been rebuilt but it has retained its character completely. Every year it is host to the du Maurier Festival - a literary festival in honour of Daphne du Maurier (Jamaica Inn, Frenchman's Creek, Rebecca) who lived in Cornwall.
